Financial and Academic Support for STEM Transfer Students (FASST) Scholarship Program
Evaluate progress toward grant goals to increase STEM degree completion of low-income, high-achieving undergraduates with demonstrated financial need. The project aims to minimize transfer shock and increase the Scholars' sense of belonging, the project will provide each Scholar cohort with a summer course-based undergraduate research experience that also has an integrated STEM transfer student orientation.

Evaluate implementation fidelity of the key project components at Notre Dame, Youngstown State University, and University of Louisville using a triangulation of data, including observation, document review, and interviews, to summarize differences at replication sites in critical factors from the initial development of the C-EEEM and how replication sites develop differently given initial conditions.

Building Data-Driven Supports for Increasing Access and Healthy Food Choices in Low-Income Neighborhoods
Evaluate implementation fidelity of the key project components using a triangulation of data, including observation, document review, and interviews, summarize document data showing evidence of strategies to support internal and external reliability and validity, document data identifying relevant data sources, acceptance criteria and test results for development of recommendation engine, convene stakeholder focus group and/or interview, surveys, and observations, as well as document review of Big Data Summary produced by the project.

Develop evaluation framework and data analysis plan, coordinate data collection in support of Evaluation Team, develop digital tools for data collection, collect and analyze stakeholder focus groups/interviews, document data, and complete annual report for review. The University of Notre Dame, as coordinating organization, and Saint Mary's College, a women's college as implementation organization, collaborate through capstone projects and internships to foster data acumen, social responsibility and engagement, and acquisition of superskills that include teamwork, entrepreneurship, creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and ethics. This approach combines explanation, prediction, and attention to cultural and social context.

Support UDC program for Business and Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) majors aimed to (1) develop an innovative and interdisciplinary Sustainable FinTech-CleanTech certificate program open to business and STEM undergraduates; (2) enrich and enhance undergraduate student and faculty research capacity in FinTech-CleanTech curriculum; and (3) engage UDC students in Sustainable FinTech-CleanTech certificate program through outreach to local high schools and community colleges.

Summarize progress toward grant goals for WEAVE - Young Women Exposed Actively to the Value of Engineering (which provided engineering exposure via hands-on experimentation with special BME lab kits), REACH - Research in Engineering to Achieve a more Confident Her (which focused on female minority UDC undergraduate students' confidence in engineering via research problems in human health within UDC's Center for Biomechanical & Rehabilitation Engineering) and AMAZE - Accomplished female Minorities Add Zeal to Engineering (which addressed engineering stereotypes to reduce feelings of isolation through mentor success stories and guest speaker activities).
